The Station Master's house is a homely, spacious and cosy base for exploring the west coast. The space is a lot bigger than it appears in photos and has everything you could need for self catering (or local hotel is doing tasty takeaway meals). We travelled as a couple but out with COVID times this would be ideal for 2 couples or a family to catch up. It was charming to be right on the railway line but with a beautiful view to the hills. Open fire and reclining settees were a real treat! The entire flat was sparkling clean and very warm. We were only 70 miles from home but felt we were a world away. Rupert and Lin took the time to leave a personal note and gift of homemade jam and even some wine - very kind. We hope to be back asap!

What a unique find! Rupert and Lin have really done up the place and made it very homely and cosy. We wanted to tour Loch Maree, Torridon and Applecross and we able to do so with ease. When it was rainy, it was nice to be able to light a fire and chill out. It was difficult to leave and we hope to come back again in the future. The homemade Jam was very tasty and those two days were the best of our quick trip.

Claire and I stayed in the downstairs apartment for a week and would thoroughly recommend it. The property is totally unique - the station building has been restored sympathetically, and with things like the original levers in the kitchen. We are not particularly rail enthusiasts but this was great and something totally different. 8 trains a day pass through the station, plus we had the Royal Scotsman one morning, and these just added to the experience. Inside the property had everything we could have wanted, with particular attention being paid to Covid issues. And outside it is ideally situated for day trips in all directions. A staycation to remember, many thanks Rupert & Lin.

We had a wonderful stay in the Ticket Office and cannot wait to return. The building has great character which has been preserved by Rupert and Lin's tasteful modernisation. The furnishings and facilities are first class, the place was spotlessly clean, Rupert was available should anything have needed attention (it didn't), and welcome gifts of milk, tea, coffee, jam and wine were greatly appreciated. The location is great - remote enough to feel "away from it all" but only a few miles from Loch Carron village - and with the pub and railway station literally a matter of feet away! Brilliant!

Amazing apartment in a unique location. Spotlessly clean and well appointed. Great for exploring the west coast of Scotland and Isle of Skye. Highly recommended.

Such a stunning house and location. Beautifully presented with some lovely thoughtful touches. We cannot recommend enough and will definitely return again.
